    waist deep in a rebuild of an old SAILOMAT 536 windvane. i bought the rig a couple years ago down in el salvador in foresight of this round the world voyage. i paid 400 bucks for it at the time, a new one would go for thousands now...obvsly completely out of my price range. fingers crossed i can get the parts i need to adapt it to my boat machined fairly quickly and inexpensively...

    and here's a look at some photos from the manual im using to try to piece this thing together....ha!
